Read Across America - Event for Children's Hospitals

The Read to Recovery Foundation donates new books and organizes joyous reading events for children's hospitals. We keep libraries well-stocked with uplifting hardcover books. We add mini libraries to the rooms of those children who are unable to visit the library, and we even have short VR immersive experiences for fun but also to distract patients who are feeling unwell.

We have an amazing Read Across America event planned for the beginning of March where we will be visiting the local children's hospitals to read Dr. Seuss books, have fun dress-ups and a photobooth, not to mention great activities painting Truffula trees onto a beautiful Dr. Seuss quote from The Lorax. The event area will be decorated with a fun forest theme and little red mushroom chairs.
