REACT for Kim! Help Kim go to Burghwood Clinic

Kim is our wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend. All of us who know her, can tell you how she is the liveliest, most vibrant and wonderfully crazy person we know. Yet recently, her energy has drained and her happiness has been taken away.
On January 5th 2019, Kim's world turned upside down. During a visit to Harry Potter World, for her daughter's birthday, she had a severe reaction to the rubber flooring. Her body became hyper-sensitive and in those moments there, Kim's life as she knew it changed.
During the last 10 months she has experienced 19 anaphylactic reactions, 3 of which resulted in a stay in intensive care. The increasing frequency and severity of Kim's reactions is very frightening and worrying for Kim, her family and friends.
Throughout 2019, we have watched our friend with the most energy and enthusiasm for life, gradually deteriorate and be forced to give up everything she loves. Not only is it touch that's causing a reaction but also airborne substances too. This means that Kim has been housebound as trips outside have become increasingly dangerous.
Kim has temporarily had to give up her job working with children, which is a career she adores. She is constantly tired and in pain and misses spending quality time with her own children, who are also worried about their Mum.
Kim is not stable enough to go into hospital for treatment. Progress through the NHS is very slow. All of us are worried about the time delay and feel that it's time to take action and help Kim get better.
Therefore, the aim of this fundraising is to raise money for Kim to go to The Burghwood Clinic in Banstead, Surrey (https://www.burghwoodclinic.co.uk ). Although they may not be able to cure the symptoms Kim is experiencing, they might be able to identify the triggers and help Kim to make an action plan for the future.

Initial consultation (approx. 1 hour) £250.00
Follow-up consultations (approx. 30 minutes) £125.00
Minimum consultation (10 minutes) £42.00
Skin Testing (Intra-dermal) 2½ hours session £110.00
Skin Prick Testing Profile £85.00
