Reaching the TikTok Generation – I Need Your Help.

You may not be aware of TikTok, but it is a social media platform favoured by Gen Z. Over the past year, I have been testing the ability to reach the next generation on the TikTok social media app. Well, after 365 days, the data is in. I have reached 131,000 unique viewers and what is interesting is that 30% of those watching are 18-24 and 28% of them are between the ages of 24-34, so in total 58% of views on my platform are under the age of 34 that's a staggering 65,000 under 34's who are viewers of Christian gospel content in the past year, and 89% of these are from the UK.

As I have been praying about this I believe there are people God has already spoken to about reaching this generation and they are ready to help.

The gender breakdown is as follows: 50% identify as male, 40% identify as female, and 9% identify as other. I now want to officially launch it as an outreach ministry as one of the legs of mission that I am involved with, so I'm planning on launching this growing TikTok outreach as a teaching platform to reach 10's of thousands of under-35s about the supernatural world and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I want to be clear what these figures mean, of those who watched 4000 watched the video till the end, and 166 people shared the video with other friends. When I hit my 2,000,000 target, it will mean that 61,000 youngsters will watch a full video about Jesus, and thousands of them will share the video with friends, which equates to around 20 pence per youngster.

This is not fluff, it’s full-bodied, spirit-filled teaching delivered where young people already spend their time. Under 35s, often referred to as Millennials (born 1981–1996) and Gen Z (born 1997–2012), tend to approach spirituality differently from previous generations. Their interest is shaped by cultural pluralism, digital interconnectedness, and a deep yearning for authenticity, meaning, and justice.

To keep this outreach regular and high-quality, I need your help. I'm launching a GoFundMe campaign to fund a year-long campaign to reach that generation, video production, editing, and platform growth.
