Dear Friends, Family and Colleagues of Eva Araceli (Duran) Jacquez.

My name is Jessica Donlucas, I am appealing to all of you on behalf of my cousin, Eva. Eva's daughter and my goddaughter, Niza Piedra, is in critical condition and hospitalized in the ICU at Sunrise Children's Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. Sadly, Niza will need to be transferred to a rehabilitation for care (outside Nevada). On December 7, 2023, Niza suffered a heart attack while playing basketball at her school. Niza is an extremely sweet, loving and kind hearted young lady, who is 17 years old. Fortunately, Niza was revived through CPR and an external defibrillator. However, her recovery will no doubt be long and arduous. It is uncertain what the effects or damage(s) has occurred as a result of the lack of oxygen during her heart attack. After Niza had an induced coma for two (2) days, she was diagnosed with Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome. On December 18, 2023, Niza underwent ablation, a procedure to treat atrial fibrillation.

At this time, Eva is seeking monetary assistance for medical expenses and additional costs related to Niza's long term care. Your contribution or donation in any amount will be greatly appreciated.
