Reaching a Monastery

Donation protected
The story is told of a monk, a disciple, who was thirsty and at the edge of a body of salt water. He asked his elder to pray that the water would be made sweet, and by the prayers of the elder, the water was made sweet. After drinking his fill, he began to fill a bottle with water. The elder asked him, "What are you doing?" and when the disciple answered, reproved him, saying, "God is everywhere."

I now have another specific monastery that I am hoping to attend and am saving up for: the Pskov Lavra in Ukraine. I am working on learning Ukrainian as well as Russian now, and made a shirt that says, in Russian, "I'm from the USA. Speak slowly, please."

The Pskov Lavra is home to a good deal to the bestselling "Everyday Saints and Other Stories", and you can get a slice of what that monasticism represents by reading it (https://amzn.to/3cq1Qan).

I need to pay for tickets, plus medical expenses (doctor's visits and maintenance medications). I am presently exploring what costs may be. I would be profoundly grateful for any donation and any help reaching my next steps.
