RAISE FUNDS FOR THE CANCER COUNCIL; Reach for the Sky at 78

The Aerobatic Competition is now finished and I managed to come 6th out of an original 8 starters in my level. Many thanks to all those kind people who have donated. I am now over 80% of my target (including cash donations) and will keep it open for a couple of weeks more to see if we can reach my $6,000 original target as I am only just over $1,000 short.

A reminder, in 2012 I was diagnosed with cancer but thanks to the staff and facilities at the Wesley Hospital in Brisbane I'm still here. My Mother and my Brother died of cancer and I've always wanted to help in some small way to get a cure for this awful disease.

Recently I was challenged to compete in an Aerobatic competition at the age of 78 and then I thought let's see if we can raise money for the Cancer Council of Queensland in my efforts to do this Aerobatic Competition. My aim is to get $3,000 for the Cancer Council of Queensland.

Please help raise some funds for us both.
