Our dear friend Katie Ferrell was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in November of 2019. Her team of  physicians are taking swift action, with her treatment plan commencing December 2, 2019. In true Katie fashion, she is tackling this like a champ, with determination, optimism, strength, and her straightforward feistiness.

As most of you know, Katie is a loving wife to Daniel and new mother to Anderson (1yr). Since her diagnosis, Katie has taken a leave from her employment at State Farm Insurance to focus on her treatment, recovery and family. Her treatment plan will include a handful of surgeries and year-long intensive chemotherapy/radiation treatments through 2020.

Katie and her family have a long journey ahead of them and appreciate all the love, support and prayers throughout the coming months. Should you elect to donate, proceeds will be used to fund the treatment, as well as to support her with her ongoing care and medical costs along the way.
