Hello everyone! My name is Tori, and I’m reaching out because my beloved dog, Rylee, is in need of surgery to remove a mast cell tumor. Here are a few reasons we need to remove it.

1. there can be side effects if they degranulate and realize histamine - anaphylaxis and/or stomach ulcers

2. they have a chance of metastasizing if higher grade and can spread to local lymph nodes, liver, and spleen. we don’t know grade until we remove the whole tumor and submit for histopath

This type of cancerous growth can fluctuate in size due to histamine release, making it crucial that we act swiftly. Unfortunately, I recently moved and am facing financial challenges that prevent me from covering the full cost of this vital procedure.
