Max's Top Surgery Fund

Hi! I'm Max, I'm a transman, and I'm trying to save up to go privately for top surgery as the NHS waiting lists are so long - years long!

I am asking for help in funding my gender affirming surgery, which is a mastectomy also known as top surgery.

Having top surgery would help with my dysphoria in so many ways, improving my mental health and physical wellbeing as well as experience and quality of life.

For the last 6 years, I have been binding my chest everyday in various ways. Binding is when you apply compression to your chest to make it flat, commonly done with compression vests, sadly this route triggers my anxiety and causes me to have panic attacks as it makes it hard to breathe.

I have booked in a consultation for the 19th October 2021, meaning that surgery could happen in February 2022, roughly 3-4 months after the consultation date, if I have enough funds at that time.
