HEY! Willow & Carina are moving from Missouri to Colorado at the end of July/early August so that Carina can finally start a career as a Latin teacher for the upcoming school year!This is extremely exciting! And expensive!
So far our budget looks ehhh..... Our savings got wiped out when our car perma-died out of nowhere last month and we had to replace it. We can cover a large portion of the expense without assistance (moving truck, transport), but there's still some.... hang-ups. And sadly, they're crucial.
1. Down payment/security deposit for our new place. No idea how to know how much this will cost until we find the dang thing. Plus the utility installation fees.
2. We are gonna be staying at one of those extended-stay hotel type things for at least the first week when we arrive so that we can schedule rental viewings etc. Then who knows when the lease would start.... (we rushed this part coming to Missouri and suffice it to say Never Again) Oh, and the place has to be pet friendly because of our darling fur babies.
3. A storage unit until aforementioned lease begins. Ideally only need to pay for one month.
We've also got a close friend Erin and her terminally-ill mother living with us, as she is her mother's full-time caretaker, and they'd both like to come with since their family was previously allowing them to be homeless and absolutely would again. So all together, there's four of us plus four cats.
You don't need to give a lot, but any little bit would help. We are all hoping for a happier, healthier life in Colorado than we've had in Missouri. Any assistance making that happen now that the hard part (the getting the actual job itself) is done would be so greatly appreciated!
