Hi Friend!
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. This is a picture of me, 51 and my son, Jordan, 29. I have a huge smile on my face because this picture was taken the night Jordan proposed to his girlfriend!
In 2013, I was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. I may look healthy, but I am struggling with several debilitating symptoms. My white blood cells are critically high, my spleen is enlarged and I have many swollen lymph nodes. I have had 2 blood transfusions recently because I was dangerously anemic, and I have had pneumonia 3 times in less than a year. All this has caused me to miss work often and has significantly limited my lifestyle. Unfortunately, my disease has progressed to the point where it is crucial for me to take drastic action now. This worries me because I want to be around next year when my son gets married and I hope to be a grandma one day.
I have worked with many doctors and oncologists over the years. When I learned that leukemia is a side effect of the treatment they offered, I decided it was not for me. I have held my own over the past 5 years through diet changes and natural supplements. Throughout this whole experience, I have kept a positive attitude and believed that God would guide me to the treatment that is right for me.
I was recently blessed with a wonderful opportunity to travel with a group of lovely people to Bangalore, India (Bengaluru) to visit the Sri Sri Ayurvedic Hospital. Ayurveda is based on the belief that health and wellness depend on the delicate balance between mind, body and spirit. The main goal is to balance bodily systems through diet and natural treatments. I discussed my medical history with the doctor there and I was so happy when he shared that they have had great success in healing patients with leukemia through a 15 to 20 day natural protocol.
I never thought I would travel to India in my lifetime, but I believe that this experience is the right treatment to restore the health of my blood. My birthday is October 10th so I will be spending my 52nd birthday in India. I am certain the gift of healing during this trip will be the best birthday gift ever!
I will be taking 3 weeks of unpaid time off work to embark on this essential journey for my healing. I need money for the plane ticket, visa fees, the hospital stay, treatments and medications.
Please consider helping me with any size donation. I need to leave on October 3rd so time is of the essence! Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help in getting me well!
