Cancer Sucks! Please help me help my wonderful cousin!

My cousin Kathy is a true survivor. She takes a lot of hits in life and comes back stronger, but this time, cancer has put a damper on this wonderful lady that I get to call “Cuz.”

It started with a regular check-up last year that turned into a rare form of breast cancer called “Mucinous Carcinoma” that came with a partial mastectomy with a sentinel node excision. This was performed in December 2024, but the doctors didn’t get it all. So, back to the surgery table to get the rest this past week, February 6th, 2025. This will be followed by radiation treatment and hormone therapy for the next several months.

It has taken a toll on this family's finances. Insurance has covered the first surgery, but the co-pay and the out-of-network radiologist for the radiation treatments have put her and her family in a tailspin. My ask to everyone is to get the medical bills paid for Kathy so she can keep helping her friends and family. I wanted to help her in any way that I could. So, I will be donating and ask if you are able to help or not, at least spread this via your social media outlets so that people hear the story and maybe donate to help an amazing person that is in a difficult situation.
