Ray Anderson

Hi my name is Michelle and I’m Ray’s fiancé. Ray had been complaining of a headache and feeling off for a few days he went to an immediate care to get checked out, they treated him and sent him on his way told him he couldn’t drive his rig for 12 hours. On Sunday September 10, 2023 Ray was airlifted from the truck stop he was resting at to the nearest hospital where they ran test and found that he had a brain bleed. They were not equipped to do the surgery he needs and he was then airlifted to St. Louis University Hospital. Ray will be going into surgery sometime today. The doctors have said the surgery will take up to 6 hours and Ray will be on a ventilator for at least 3 days after. We won’t know the damage that this bleed caused until after. Ray is the main bread winner as I was injured a few years ago and am unable to work. The hospital is located 6 hours away from our home and everyone we know. Ray is a truck driver so we do not know when or if he will be able to get back in the road again. He takes pride and loves what he does. That all being said we will need all the help we can get to help pay for upcoming medical bills, our current bills, food and a place to stay for me while he is at the hospital.
