Support David's Journey to Recovery

Hello,

On January 11, 2024, our Dad, David, unexpectedly developed group A1 strep & went into toxic shock & multi organ failure. This eventually led to him suffering from multiple strokes & brain bleeds. His kidneys completely shut down & he was on dialysis for months.

Dad spent four months in & out of the ICU. He also just finished a month in a rehab hospital & is now home with Mom.

Although we are relieved to have Dad home, his road to recovery is far from over. Dad is starting over & having to relearn how to eat, talk, stand, walk - meaning we need not only nurse/tech care, but also: physical & speech therapy.
