Support My Journey to Complete My Degree

My name is Adeliya Mirmanova, and I am a Business Management student at Northumbria University in the UK, originally from Kazakhstan. I am reaching out to share my story and seek your support during a particularly challenging period in my life.

Recently, my family and I have been facing significant difficulties. My father was forced to retire early due to health issues, which has placed a heavy financial strain on us. Furthermore, this spring, my hometown of Petropavlovsk in Kazakhstan was devastated by severe flooding, causing extensive damage to our home and resulting in substantial repair costs.

These unforeseen hardships have greatly affected my ability to fund my education. Despite working multiple part-time jobs, I have managed to save only £4,000. However, I still need an additional £19,000 to cover my tuition fees and accommodation for my final year. I have explored all available options and sought assistance from my university, but unfortunately, they were unable to provide the support I need. The prospect of having to pause my studies is incredibly distressing, especially given the dedication and hard work I’ve invested in my education.

Over the past year, I have been actively working to secure a one-year placement opportunity to help cover my tuition fees. I have applied to over 113 placements, attended 30 interviews, and participated in numerous assessment centers, but unfortunately, I have not been successful in securing a position.
