Last night, our sweet girl, Ava, had a sudden medical emergency. Her stomach flipped (a condition called bloat) and within minutes, her life was at risk. As she was fading on the table, we were faced with an impossible decision: let her go immediately or move forward with an $8,000 emergency surgery.

We chose to fight for Ava’s life. Thanks to the incredible veterinary team, she made it through surgery and we were able to bring her home today to begin her recovery. She is sore, tired, but still our loving, gentle girl.
