Celebration of Life for Brittany

Family and friends, it is great sadness that we inform you of the loss of our beautiful daughter, Brittany

Slocum. She passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Thursday, February 24, 2022, at only 34 years

old. Brittany was a loving daughter, sister, and friend who touched the lives of those around her. We lost

such a beautiful soul, and she will be missed by many.

Brittany loved to laugh, dance and sing. Brittany was the life of the party and had a smile that could light

up the room. Brittany cared deeply for her loved ones and fur babies. She was warm, kind, strong,

stubborn, and brutally honest; she wouldn’t hesitate to tell it like it is.

Brittany was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis a few years ago and this disease drastically impacted the

quality of her life. Brittany experienced many struggles that we wouldn’t wish on anyone, let alone our

daughter. Brittany had her demons and struggled with mental health issues and addiction.

We are absolutely devastated by Brittany’s sudden passing and we were not prepared for the high costs

for services and final expenses. We are starting this fund to help alleviate some of the financial hardship.
