Hi , my name is kerry and I'm raising funds to help support a local family who recently got news that their 14year old son has leukemia.

I'm hoping that as a community we can come together and do what we do best by supporting this wee family with one less worry by gathering a little fund for Rhys.

Rhys' family have been very private about his recent diagnosis, but as a community I know there is alot of people who will want to help, especially those of us who have children ourselves, this would be any parents worst nightmare.

Those of you who know the family will know this isn't their first encounter with cancer, as rhys' mum has also battled it, they are a family of survivors and rhys will come through the otherside to.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated to help ease any financial strain at this difficult time, and to make life a little bit easier for them.
