It is extremely hard to find words for what our family is going through. On February 20th, we received the devastating news that our sweet Emma has Leukemia.
Emma is 11 years old and so full of life! She’s always being goofy with her family and friends and always trying to put a smile on people’s faces and make them laugh. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She’s our little social butterfly.
Through all of this, she is being so brave and strong! Her spirit is fierce! Every day she’s staying positive and is ready to take on the next thing.
During this time, we are humbly asking for donations. Your donations will help us with our many trips to Riley Children’s Hospital, medical equipment, medical bills, things that Emma will need at home, special clothing for her port to comfortably fit, finishing our flooring in our house—so Emma doesn’t have to be around nasty dirty carpet—and also to help us eventually get a wig made for her when she loses her hair.
We know times are tough and any donation, big or small, is much appreciated, but if you can’t make a donation, then we ask that you keep our sweet girl in your thoughts and send good vibes to her.
Our Emma is so strong and I know she will get through this very long journey! Thank you for taking the time to read Emma’s story.
