Stronger than Sarcoma
Donation protected
Last month, one of my very close friends, Joe, was unfortunately diagnosed with Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer affecting his muscle tissue. This was discovered after an unrelated surgical procedure. He thought he was going to be all right, but then he faced the worst news anyone can receive. Joe is the most caring, down to earth person. He is always there whenever anyone needs a helping hand. Now, we need to help him out. Joe is determined to battle his cancer and overcome it. He is currently a senior at SUNY Oneonta studying Business Economics and is set to graduate in May, 1 full year earlier than originally planned. He is doing everything in his power to stay on track in the hopes of achieving his goal to graduate this upcoming May. One issue, however, is that his journey will have to come with more surgeries and treatments to battle his cancer. In order to help Joe achieve his goal, I have organized this fundraiser to help his family pay for various surgeries and treatments that his insurance will not cover. Next month he will be undergoing multiple extensive surgeries to try and avoid the cancer from spreading into his lungs. Following this, he will undergo radiation and chemotherapy treatment. Please spread the word and keep Joe in your prayers. We love you.
