Winnie's Vet Bill

Hi. My name is Lisa, and I am the aunt of Winnie's paw-rents Stephanie and Keiran.

On Monday, May 5, 2025, Keiran took Winnie out to Sutherland Dog Park in Saskatoon. Unfortunately during this outing, Winnie was swarmed by 3 big dogs, one being a Great Dane that severely attacked her. The owner of the 3 big dogs didn't offer any contact information to pay any vet bills. Winnie required 3 surgeries done at Erindale Animal Hospital in Saskatoon to repair the damages to the front and back of her neck. To date the vet bills are $4,500+. While they had pet insurance that covered some costs, they had to pay $1,600 out of pocket and we are trying to help them cover this unexpected cost.

If we happen to exceed the goal, Stephanie and Keiran would donate the extra proceeds to Saskatoon Dog Rescue as this is a non-profit near and dear to them as they have fostered 3 different puppies for this rescue.

Winnie is now all stitched up and still has one drain tube in her neck. She is on mild sedation, but healing and happy to be back home with her much loved paw-rents.
