RCSD K9 team

K9 Kazaan is ill .He is in the emergency vet. He contracted ehrlichia from a tick. He has had blood transfusions but nothing has started working. He collapsed last night so we took him back to the emergency vet. We are waiting to here an update. The Emergency Hospital is out of blood so they cannot give him the transfusions he needs. They have given him partial transfusions but he is so weak and so sick. If he does not get the lifesaving blood, he will not make it.. So far the cost to his owners is in excess of $20,000 and will continue to add up. This K9 was part of the Richland County Sherriff's Department K9 team. He retired when his handler left the K9 team, he served many years keeping the people safe in our area . He has many captures and he has found drugs and guns, and because of that kept them off of the streets. At the present time, he needs us to help his owners pay for his medical care. They have had to pay his medical bills as things are being done for him or they would not let his owners take him home. And then they have to bring him back each day. These K9s serve people and they do what is necessary to protect and serve, and now he needs our help. Please help me raise the money needed for his care.  Please help his owners, they are doing everything in their power to get the fund to pay for his medical care. K9 Kazaan needs our help and I hope I can count on all the wonderful people out there to help us make sure he receives the medical care he needs to beat this horrible disease.
