Hi everyone, just posting a little update.

I wanted to thank each and every one of you who have donated towards Tom’s surgery. Every dollar truly counts.

The surgeon was able to remove every stone from his bladder and urethra. Tommy boy is now recovering at Blue Pearl and if all goes smoothly, fingers crossed he will come home before dinner time.

The surgery was costly, but worth it. Anyone who has pets knows that they are a member of the family.

He is a good cat… actually I’d say the BEST cat. The most lovable. My family truly could not imagine life without him in it.

The go fund me is still running, as we are still coming up with ways to pay off our debt. Please feel free to spread the word - your kindness has really made a difference in our lives.

My sister's cat (baby) Tom was diagnosed with a serious bladder condition that requires urgent surgery to save his life.

It all started when she noticed Tom was crying in pain and becoming lethargic. After rushing him to the vet, we learned that he has many stones in his bladder. Without surgery, the condition can quickly become life-threatening.

The estimated cost of surgery, hospitalization, and follow-up care is $6,500-$7,000, which is more than I can manage on my own. We just put out $3,500 for his care up to this point for the emergency care at Blue Pearl.

If you know my sister, you know that she NEVER asks for help with anything. Anyone that has a fur baby knows how precious they are and how devastating it is when you have to make a choice for their care, especially when their care is so expensive. We would appreciate any help to take the stress off of her and have Tom taken care of.
