À la recherche d’un miracle de Noël….
Bonjour mon nom est Sylvie Lavoie et j’ai besoin de votre aide pour mon mari, Alain Boutin.
Mon mari est en attente d’une chirurgie de la hanche depuis maintenant 1 an et demi. La semaine dernière, l’hôpital l'informait qu'il devait encore attendre minimum un an avant de pouvoir se faire opérer.
Il est vraiment au bout de ce qu’il peut endurer. Sa douleur est insupportable et constante. Au point qu'il ne peut presque plus se déplacer, il ne dort plus et il n'a plus aucune qualité de vie. Il prend énormément de médicaments pour essayer de contrôler la douleur, mais elle demeure insoutenable.
La seule option qu'il lui soit offert en ce moment est une chirurgie au privé au coût de 30,000$.
Je m'en remets donc à vous, car je ne vois aucune autre solution. Il se sent tellement mal et il doit piler sur son orgueil pour faire une demande de la sorte, mais sachez qu’il apprécie énormément ce geste de générosité.
Il est préposé aux bénéficiaires. Avec la chirurgie et quelques mois de physiothérapie, il pourrait aller au front pour faire sa part dans ce monde si mal en point.

My husband as been waiting for hip surgery for a year and a half now. Last week, the hospital informed me that he will still have to wait at least a year before he could have an operation.
He is really at the end of what he can take. His pain is unbearable and constant. At the point where he can hardly move, he no longer sleeps and he has no quality of life. He takes a lot of medication to try to control his pain but it remains unbearable.
The only option available to him at the moment is private surgery at a cost of $ 30,000.
I am therefore leaving this in your hands, because I see no other solution. He feels so bad and he has to step on his pride to make such a request, but know that he greatly appreciate this gesture of generosity.
He is an orderly. With the surgery and a few months of physiotherapy, he could do his part and help save this wounded world.
