RCL BRANCH 344

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 344 located on the Lakeshore in Toronto is usually a Branch bustling with activity from members and guests enjoying our lakefront patio  to a beautiful rental facility for a variety of events. Our yearly Poppy campaign pre COVID has consistently been a major success bringing in donations of over $90 000 a year. These donations go towards veterans housing, programs, and support for veterans and their families. Branch 344 has also been an active part of the Parkdale community for several years. To some, this Legion has been deemed Toronto’s best kept secret with its gorgeous view of Lake Ontario and warm hospitality. 

In the fall of 2020, after already facing a difficult year financially, our furnace stopped working . With winter approaching, we had no option but to replace it to keep the building in working order. We were able to receive  a loan in order to do so but our loan repayment plan commences May 2021. Due to COVID 19 shutdowns, our Branch has not been able to generate any funds. We have a $50 000 loan to repay and are asking for your help to keep our Branch alive so we can continue to support our veterans and our community!
