Hello Raleigh CrossFit Community,
This is Chennelle, owner of Raleigh CrossFit. As you may know, there was a major fire that took down a construction site at approximately 1000p on Thursday, March 16, 2017. This fire caused major losses for 7 of our Raleigh CrossFit athletes who had residences at The Links Apartments, which were directly across from the new construction. These losses are irreplaceable and our athletes could really use our help as a community.
One of the characteristics we pride ourselves on is being supportive of our Raleigh community. Well, now, it has hit directly home, within the walls of our athlete, friend and family base. These individuals are safe, but their personal items and lives are extremely affected by this massive, 5-alarm fire that ravaged Downtown Raleigh.
We are reaching out for your support.
Please consider donating to this fund. If you are unable to donate via this link, we will take monetary donations, gift cards for clothing, restaurants, groceries. All donations will be divided and provided to them to help them get back to normalcy.
We will be collecting these items this entire week, culminating with the final CrossFit Open event on Saturday, March 25. This also happens to be our annual Raleigh CrossFit picnic.
Let's come together, to support mentally, physically, whatever it takes to help these wonderful people #riseup.
