Hi my name is natalie and I am fundraising on behalf of my neighbours.
A little back story...
A little over 11 months ago my neighbours took a family holiday abroad, while on holidays thier little boy swallowed a toy bullet, the kind with a little suction cup on the end of it, the stick of the bullet came out but they were unable to find th suction cup itself. Over the past 11 months my neighbour has taken her son to the doctors and hospital telling them theres something wrong with his chest, she has been told he has asthma, a chest infection, its his adenoids, hes had antibiotics, steroids and asthma pumps, nothing has worked. After being admitted to hospital via ambulance this last time, they found that he has a collapsed lung and the suction cup can be seen on an xray. They were transferd to the heath hospital where an attempt was made to remove it from his lung, after being unsuccessful there, they were transfered to great ormond steet hospital where they were able to remove it. Unfortunately this caused a tear in his oesophagus and left a hole in his lung. He now has a feeding tube until they can operate to repair the damage. After he has open chest surgery, he'll remain in intensive care asleep until he has healed enough for him to be able to move around, hes 2 years old.
So on to the other reason for this page. Today 20/9/25, while my neighbour spends some time with her other young daughter at the hospital with her poorly son, she recieved a phone call informing her that there is smoke coming from her windows upstairs and there is a fire. Quick response from the fire brigade put the fire out but the smoke damage is extensive. Everything is gone, yet she is still trying to remain positive for her children during this extremely worring time.
Anything you could donate would greatly be appreciated and maybe take a little stress off them as family.
Thank you x
