On the 8th of March myself and my twin brother Martin will be doing a 100km challenge for the Irish cancer society. We will be doing 100km between the rowing machine, ski machine and threadmill. We are raising money because our dad is currently fighting pancreatic cancer, he was diagnosed a few months ago and His battle has been tough, involving chemotherapy, procedures, and massive amounts of heart and strength.
Theres not a family In any small town in Ireland that hasn’t been effected some way and have been left heartbroken because of it.. In Ireland alone, about 44,000 people are diagnosed each year, leaving countless loved ones facing the fear, grief, and uncertainty that comes with it.
That’s why we are fundraising for vital research Progress has been made—the survival rate has improved in recent years—but we need more breakthroughs in treatments and cures to save lives and spare families this pain.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps.
