Hi I’m Bill Howard and I’m the guy that will always help anyone in need no matter what it is. Im a natural MacGyver that can usually fix anything most of the time. And usually help fix anything I can when asked for help of course. I’m that guy you never have to ask twice for help. I actually just moved back to California for health reasons as I have been suffering from an autoimmune disease called Severe Ulcerative Colitis which almost killed me in 2020. I noticed my symptoms would go away when I’d visit California and since I grew up here that maybe being back here would help my body. It actually did help as I’ve been here since February and for the first time in 2 years my body not only felt better but my Severe UC finally went into full remission a few months ago. My wife and I decided to open a shop in Tierrasanta and dumped all our money into opening the place recently and decided I’d get my first flu shot ever since I’d be working directly with customers again and was told I’d be fine getting it. Well it actually wasn’t good as a week and half later it activated my autoimmune out of wack and triggered my Severe UC to kick in and went out of control real fast this time. Then the worst happened as my colon tore sending me to the emergency room for emergency surgery to remove part of the diseased colon. This is the worst pain and suffering for anyone to go through. I even say that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy if I had one. So my trouble is my insurance doesn’t start until the first of the year and come to find out they won’t cover any of the bills we’ve incurred since this started. And all my money is already spent to open a store that will now have to wait as I can’t perform the work if we do open. I don’t qualify for any of the assistance programs as my income normally makes more than the threshold they have. The hospital is giving me 60 days to pay $30k or more since I’m still hospitalized with discharge date yet. In other words I’m not out of the woods yet as they say. I’m not the person to ever ask for a handout or help with anything as I’ve always just figured someway out of problems my whole life. This is the one time I really feel trapped and asking for help.
