I've been a serious painter most of my life; galleries, shows, commissions, sales. Took some time to focus on others, get a corporate job to finance raising my son, came out as gay 15 years ago, living on social security in a cheap Oakland loft.
Been a long time since I've focused on taking care of myself, too busy helping others. But realized recently I really need to paint again, get serious about my languishing career, have a completely fresh start, on my own.
Seattle makes a perfect transition in the lifestyle & city environment I love, as San Francisco is too expensive & lost much of its warm atmosphere in recent years.
Nothing much holding me in the Bay Area anymore really. Loving the idea of a fresh start, reigniting the painting career & building an all new life in a wonderful city.
