Hello! Pictured above is our beloved boy Chewy, an energetic, happy, and friendly 5 year old Yellow Lab.

 Chewy has been with his family since the beginning of his life, and his health started suddenly declining with no answers. For a while doctors were completely stumped, but we have finally found out what is causing the vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, and the lethargy. He has something called a protein leaking nephropathy, which is protein leaking from his kidneys. The doctors don't know the exact cause of this, and he will probably have to undergo more testing in order to figure that out. For now we are treating his PLN with immuno-suppressives, steroids, and a low protein diet.

After countless tests, long vet visits, and emergency visits, ultrasounds, x-rays, IV fluids, hospital stays, and tons of blood panels, we have ended up burried in medical bills totaling around $5000

We want to keep chewy completely comfortable and we want to continue to be able to give him the best care he is able to. Your funds will be used to ensure he will be given everything he needs moving forward, as we are approaching severe financial hardships.
