Isaac's Road To Recovery

I know everyone has been following our story and we appreciate all of you! We have done our best to keep our needs at a low but after 6 months things are starting to take a toll.

Isaac got sick August 2021 and it's been a roller coaster since then. I took FMLA to try to keep my job but ended up losing it. I've been without a paycheck for 6 months and Chris has done an amazing job keeping us afloat but it's time that we need to ask for help.

August 12th, 2021 Isaac faints and is rushed to the ER. They send us to Children's Hospital in Aurora and we find out he possibly has leukemia. Rushed to the ICU for brain bleeds. Start transfusions for blood and platelets because he has zero in his body. 3 days in ICU and back up to a normal room. After 3 weeks of waiting he was diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia. 6 more hospital stays since then for various reasons around his condition.

February 2, 2022 Isaac finally got his bone marrow transplant! He's has done so well through this craziness. He is staying strong and is such a warrior. We don't know how long we will be in the hospital. It could be weeks, it could be months. It all depends on his bodies ability to engraft his donors bone marrow. His story is to be continued.

We thank everyone for their love and support through this ordeal. You never know when life will throw you a curve ball but we are confident through God, our family and friends we will pull through this! God bless all of you!
