R. Ben Voth's Eagle Project
Donation protected
My name is R. Ben Voth. I am currently a life scout and Senior Patrol Leader of Boy Scout Troop 127 in Agoura Hills, CA. SPL is the highest youth leadership in the troop. I have also served as the Chapter Chief for the Chauwalanne Chapter in the Order of the Arrow for two years. Scouting has taught me the values of self- determination, leadership, partnership, fellowship, and effective communication.
I have been blessed to go on many scouting adventures, earned by my own merit fundraising, scholarships, and family contributions. I now feel it is time for me to give back to my community. I am currently planning and preparing to carry out my Eagle Scout Project, an essential part of the Scouting experience.
My project will be at the Agoura Animal Shelter on June 16-17 and June 23-24 2018. The project entails the construction of a 12’ by 22’ Tortoise and Turtle enclosure, made up of chain link, concrete, and composite wood materials. It will include three pens for tortoises and one aquatic for turtles. The new enclosure will allow the shelter to safely house and adopt out Tortoises and Turtles.
My current cost estimate is $4,000.00 for materials and supplies. Without your much needed support, I will not be able to complete this project, and I will miss out on the opportunity to earn my Eagle Scout Rank.
I would like to note that any donations made to my Eagle Scout Project or my troop are in fact tax deductible. Once the project is complete, I will be sending each person or group donating to my project a contribution letter with the tax identification number. I will be happy to answer any further questions about my project you might have.
Nothing would mean more to me than your support for this momentous occasion in my life. I have been in Scouts since the third grade, when I became a Bear Cub. My entire time in scouts has been leading up my Eagle project, so please consider supporting me in my effort.
Thank you.
