Hello everyone my name is Melia Smith-Rolle, I have been officially diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma a rare and aggressive form of smooth muscle cancer. A few months ago I started to experience burning and painful symptoms in my stomach. I had some blood work done and a CT scan, unfortunately, those tests were not good. I have now a large mass growing in my stomach.
Being affected by hurricane Dorian and loss of my job due to Covid. It is hard, I don't the monies for this surgery. My doctor says that I need to have the surgery as soon as possible as the mass has grown substantially since my last visit.
I am asking you to please assist me with obtaining the funds for this surgery, as it now has become a race against time. My sister and friends have organized this gofundme for me. Thank you for all your support.
