I have been taking care of my aunt and uncle as their live-in caretaker for the past 3 years. Sadly, my aunt passed away back in October of 2025. We believe she had life insurance policies that would have covered most, if not all, of her funeral and burial arrangements, but it turns out she had cashed them in to pay bills in the past and there was nothing left.
Then tragedy struck again the day after my aunt's funeral when my uncle suffered a pretty big heart attack and was in a coma for several days. Luckily, he survived and things were looking good, but it was only a month later that sadly we lost him too, unexpectedly, just 2 weeks ago.
In order to have my uncle's funeral, we have to put down a minimum of $2,000 on my aunt's outstanding bill with the funeral home before they will do services for him. The total amount owed is $6,000 to pay it off. Money is tight for us; we suddenly have a mortgage and bills to cover so the house can stay in the family. Because they are both gone, that also means that I suddenly have found myself without a job or paychecks coming in until I'm able to find something else.
I know times are hard for everyone but we would appreciate anything you can do, your donation would mean so much to me and my family!
