Since birth our eldest son Xavier has faced many obstacles in life. Coming into this world alive almost didn't happen for him. What was needed was an emergency C-Section I never received, that lead my son emerging  with the cord around his neck, blue and not breathing. Fast forward through time Xavier is in speech and language, IEP's are in place and interventions. My son has seen several counselors, school social workers, and private counselors. They have all failed our son. Recently through a well renowned counseling facility we have gotten the answers we have suspected for awhile already. Our son Xavier is on the autism spectrum and mentally delayed. This has all been suspected for awhile now just never confirmed. Most people thought he only had ADHD, medications never helped and no treatment or sessions made a large difference. Xavier over time got worse his behavior worse. Those that know our son personally have heard and seen our personal struggles. Unfortunately we have dealt with a lot of those problems on our own and privately. Our son has made the mistake of running with a few people he should have never been around and the result was our son being incarcerated. This is probably every parents absolute worst nightmare and we are living it right now! We also realize we cannot do this alone we need the support of all of our friends and family both spiritually and financially.
