Hi I'm Sandra, and I am a secondary school teacher from Aberdeen, Scotland. I am currently World Number 2 in Aquathlon for my age group, winning a Silver medal in the World Championships in October 2021.

I will be representing TeamGB again as follows this year;

World Championship – August 2022 – Slovakia for Aquathon.

European Championships – September 2022 – Bilbao, Spain for Aquathon

World Championships – June 2022 – Montreal for Sprint Triathlon

The TeamGB kit is compulsory to wear, and the Tri suit alone cost £315 and all flights/accommodation I have paid for myself so far this year, currently sits at around £4000, so any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Finally, I would like to mention that I am always advocating how exercise and mental strength can make you achieve anything you put your mind too. For the past 20 years I have been living with various health issues including Crohns, Ceoliac Disease, Asthma and a Vitamin deficiency.

I do not under any circumstance want you to read this and feel sorry for me, but perhaps look at it as someone with determination and resilience.
