College Rent and Tuition

My name is Joe Dorsey and I'm a student at Ohio University where I'm entering my fourth (and hopefully) final year. Throughout my time as a student I have learned things that I could have never imagined learning, met people I could have never imagined meeting, and ultimately grew as an individual on many levels. I constantly challenge myself to become better in any way I can.
I come from a classic Midwestern family located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Having younger siblings in a large family has made it tough on my parents to help as much as they'd like to, but they help out as much as they can with their busy lives. I have also received a lot of support from many other people to get me to this point. Real, genuine people who have stepped up and saw something in me or felt like helping me out was something important to them. I'm incredibly thankful for this.
After the passing of my father in spring of 2007 I remember being told one thing: you can either let yourself get stronger from this, or you can let this defeat you. It was going to be one or the other. Through growth and change both on a spiritual and emotional level, I have refused to let opposition get in the way of my life. I found ways to earn 85 college credit hours, leaving me only 35 credit hours away from graduating with my degree in communications and sales. I've managed to find co-signers on loans with the help of incredible people who took a chance on me. The silver lining to all of this is that I learned how to sell myself. I spun what was dealt to me and used it to my advantage.
I'm entering the most rigorous and challenging year of my college career. Balancing 21 hours a week of work along with 15 credit hours of class, hopefully being a part of the Ohio University Sales Center this month and doing volunteer work to boost my resume, I have a full plate. I currently can't find a co-signer on a loan although I have been approved through discover student loans. My estimated cost for the school year after the dispersal of government issued loans is 5,000 dollars after the money I raise working. After coming this far I don't want to backtrack. I am thankful for anyone who took the time to read this and I hope to accomplish my goal.
