Hello friends and family! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Lily Brown. I'm reaching out on behalf of my parents, RB and Vicki. This week my dad was admitted to UofM hospital and diagnosed with lung cancer. There is an 8 cm mass between his spine and aorta. We're awaiting more tests to determine if it has spread elsewhere in the body before an official plan is set, but he will most likely begin radiation soon.

Our priority is my dad's health, and with that comes expenses. My mom is a self-employed hair stylist, and paid sick leave does not exist. While he's admitted, she's driving between Mason and Ann Arbor daily. He may come home soon, but we also suspect future trips back and forth for treatment. Small expenses add up, and the medical bills haven't even started. Many loved ones have asked how they can help. Anything you can do to lessen the financial stress on my family will be deeply appreciated. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
