I debated putting this together as I’m not sure if my dad would approve, but so many of you have reached out to ask how you could help my family during this time.

As many of you know, my dad will undergo a complete laryngectomy on November 10th. He has every confidence in God during this time and is still just as positive as ever. However, the doctors have told him he will be unable to travel for 4-6 months as he recovers and heals.

Dad, of course, is confident that healing will progress quickly, but it will still be a while until he is able to be on the road again.

My purpose in putting this together is to try and surprise them with money to cover the hospital living expenses and travel expenses for the trips back-and-forth to the hospital during his many pre-and post-op appointments.

Both his surgery and therapy sessions will take place at U of M. We are thankful that they are able to do this at such a good facility.

Mom was able to secure hospital housing for the first week. This was a huge answer to prayer as it will keep her closer to dad during the most trying times.
