MEChA de SDSU Raza Grad 2019

Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanx de Aztlán (MEChA ) de San Diego State University organizes a graduation ceremony every year, known as Raza Graduation. This year we will be honoring our 39th class of graduating seniors who have demonstrated their commitment and contribution to the advancement of their communities. These graduates are usually the first in their families to graduate from college and serve as role models to others through leadership and service.

Raza Grad is more than just an opportunity to celebrate our milestone, it is a time to reflect on the impact we have made on campus and in the community. We also could not have done this without the support of our families, friends, alumni, and mentors. You all have helped us grow into the individuals that we are today.

As some of you may know, MEChA de SDSU does not get any funding from the university. In order to make this ceremony happen, the graduates have to raise all the money through various fundraisers and sponsorships. We cannot do this alone. We need your help to make this intimate ceremony the way we envision it.
