Hello Houston!
If you are seeing this, you know what I am fighting and set to defeat!
My name is Ray. I am a 46-year-old native Houstonian, father, vegan, fitness enthusaist, social architect, activist, and spirtual warrior.
As fate would have it, on November 9th I was diagnosed with Follicular B-cell Lymphoma, just a few months after leaving my job in order to support the incomparable Letitia Plummer's congressional campaign.
High COBRA premiums and fees from the diagnostic process have exhausted my savings. Expenses keep rollin in, my treatment has not even started-and currently no income!
My plan is to return to work as soon as possible. But my doctors made clear that I will not be able to for the first few months of treatment. As hard as it is, I am humbling myself and asking for help...from friends, family, and total strangers.
I fully expect to be cancer free by the end of this year. I have already seen the victory and am thanking God in advance for providing and restoring my health!
