Funeral expenses

This has been a long journey for my husband Ray and our family; one that we thought would lead down a much different road.  However, life doesn't always make allowances for our plans and sometimes we have to prepare to say good-bye before we are ready to.  
Just two weeks ago,  after multiple hospitalizations my family learned that the doctors had found cancer on Ray's liver.  Days later, we were told that we needed to start hospice care.  His body had been weakened by his fight to recover from other ailments, and there nothing we could do, but be there for him and keep him as comfortable as possible.   
We have very little time left and  it has also become painfully obvious that the hospital and medical bills devoured our savings and now there is simply nothing left to cover funeral costs.
My goal is to raise enough to provide for Ray to be cremated as this is his wish.  We do not have much time until Ray is called home to be with Jesus and it is great comfort in knowing that so many are already offering their prayers of strength and peace to our family and Ray as he makes this journey.
