Let’s help Amy
Donation protected
Amy was diagnosised with breast cancer in January of 2006 at 39 years old. She had a double mastectomy. In December 2006 she started to have a lot of abdominal pain and was diagnosed with uterine cancer. March 2007 she had a total hysterectomy. In March 2015 she was diagnosed with colon cancer and yet another surgery May 11, 2015. Also in May 2015 she was diagnosed with Lynch syndrome. Lynch syndrome in basic terms means any bad cells that are in her body likes cysts, tumors polups can’t fix themselves so this leaves her with a breeding ground for cancer to grow. 2016 she was misdiagnosed as having possible swollen glands nine months later in November 2016 she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer two different types. Stage III. Because she was misdiagnosed for so long the cancer had spread and the surgeon was unable to get it all with surgery alone. She was implanted with radiation in her neck in attempts to rid her of the remaining cancer. Due to the radiation the bones in her mouth are deteriating which are causing her teeth to come loose and eventually will fall out. She is not eligible for dentures because of the bone deterioration. She can however have dental implants which would encourage the bone to grow. The problem being that implants are at least $30,000. This is not covered by insurance. This brief summary of what my friend has been through does not begin to touch the surface of everything she has suffered. Amy is one of the best people I’ve ever met. I can’t think of anyone who deserves this money more than her and her husband and daughter. This family has been through hell and back and it’s time for something good to happen for them. Any donation no matter how small will be so appreciated. Prayers are also welcome.
