Rayne’s lifesaving surgery
Donation protected

She underwent emergency surgery around midnight, and came out around 4am. As this was major surgery, she’s also had to spend a few days there to recover. Without this surgery, she would not have made it through the night.
The total vet bill is $7594.50.
And with follow up vet checks, and also a blood test ($400) due to her being sick 4 weeks after the surgery, the total cost of vet bills so far has totalled over $8000.
Unfortunately for me in my situation, due to constant Melbourne lockdowns I have been out of work for almost 6 months this year. I have always planned for an emergency situation, but in no way was I prepared for a life or death situation like this with a bill this high. Unfortunately I had to cancel my pet insurance earlier in the year, as without an income I was unable to afford the monthly payments.
This surgery was not even a question for me, as to whether or not it happened. Rayne is my family, and she is the most important part of my life.
I know I am asking for a lot. But I really need the help. I have already paid for part of the bill, so I’m not asking for the entire amount.
