Raymond’s Medical Journey

Hey Friends & Family, my name is Madisyn and I’m asking for Prayers, Love & Help for my Nephew Raymond.

Raymond is a 22 year old young man that had an ATV accident on March 3rd. He is currently at UMC in Lubbock with a Neck fracture at C6-7, spinal injury at C6-7, mild brain damage and dealing with the possible risk of Paralysis. He will be having a Halo (Mechanical Traction) placed today to stabilize his spine, so no further damage is caused. He has been heavily sedated since his accident & on a vent. Raymond will endure 2 surgeries tomorrow fixing his spine.

As I sit here and type this my heart is heavy because Raymond just got a new job (insurance lapse) in Amarillo, Texas @ Northwest doing what he loves….helping people. He also just got his own apartment & enrolled into college to further his education. Everything was going so well until it wasn’t.

Raymond has a long and hard road ahead of him but nothing is impossible with God. I need your help to make this life changing event easier on him & his parents. When he is able to be released from the hospital there will be many accommodations that need to be made to his home to make daily activities less challenging for Raymond.

Anything will help. Truly. If all you can give is a prayer that’s enough too. Thank you so much from the very bottom of my heart for reading, praying & helping my Nephew. God has the final Say ❤️
