My journey began two years ago, not by choice, but by God’s permission. The day I was diagnosed with cancer, my world stopped. Fear entered my heart, and questions filled my mind. I asked why, and I asked how, but most of all, I asked God to stay with me—because I knew I could not walk this road alone.

As time passed, I learned that faith does not remove the storm; it teaches you how to stand in the rain. When I was told the cancer had spread to my bones, my heart broke in a deeper way. The pain became constant, overwhelming, and at times unbearable. There are nights when sleep does not come, when the pain speaks louder than my prayers, and my body feels too tired to keep fighting. Yet even in those moments, God has not left me. In the quiet of the night, when tears fall and my strength is gone, I feel His presence holding me up. When my body is weak, His strength carries me. When fear tries to take over, His peace reminds me that I am not facing this alone.

I may not understand His plan, but I trust His love. This journey has taught me that faith is not always loud or confident. Sometimes faith is whispered through tears. Sometimes it is simply saying, “God, I am still here.” And every morning I wake up, even in pain, I know that He has given me another day for a reason. Cancer lives in my body, but it does not live in my spirit. My pain is real, but so is my hope. I believe that God is walking beside me through every appointment, every sleepless night, and every moment of fear. He is my healer, my comfort, and my refuge. I do not know what tomorrow holds, but I know who holds tomorrow. And that is enough.
