Raymond's final Journey
Donation protected
Raymond's health started to decline approximately 7-8 years ago. He developed gangrene on his R-Foot and it eventually needed to be amputated. About a year later, his L-Foot also became infected and needed amputation above the knee. Raymond became non-ambulatory and moved into an Assisted Living facility
where he could receive 24 care. Raymond then developed problems with his kidneys about a year and a half ago and required dialysis three 3xs a week.
Raymond' was admitted to the hospital on Saturday, August 19, 2023, where doctors determined he was in Complete Renal Failure and his treatment will no longer work for him.
He received hospice care until he passed. Doctors and nurses kept him sedated and comfortable as possible.
Raymond left behind his 4 brothers. Louie, Junior, Jessie, Larry, and Gary, and his 4 Sisters. Yolanda, Rosie, Martha, Cynthia.
Raymond and Margaret have two beautiful children Ray and Rayanne.
His family remembered him for his love for Classic Cars. He was in a car club called the Classics with his 56 Chevy and he proudly owned a 59 El Camino and a 42 Ford. He worked at a bike shop and had a passion for building low-rider bikes and loved his beach cruiser.
Raymond worked for many years pouring Asphalt. He loved to do side jobs helping people. He had many skills including flooring plumbing, and roofing. He was also a car mechanic and would go to people's houses to fix their cars.
He loved camping, fishing, and hunting, and his favorite food to cook was steak and cheese. He loved dancing and listening to his oldies. His favorite song was by James Brown (It's a man world)... Raymond had a sense of style and fashion for clothes.
Lastly, Raymond was known to speak his mind regardless of what anyone thought.
But most of all Raymond was a Servant of God at Victory Outreach.
Unfortunately, we let life slip by without preparing for this moment.
We are asking and would appreciate any donation to bare the cost associated with funeral expenses to help us honor the loss of Raymond Marquez.
