In Loving Memory of The Life of Raymond Reed
May 10, 1983 to December 3, 2014
We come together as a family for the loss of a loved one, Raymond Reed, the definition of a gentle giant.
The family decided to come together and setup a funding account to help with the expenses that will occur from his death.
Raymond was such a loving, charismatic, and energetic man. One thing he stood for and strongly believed in was family. He even managed to bless the family with a legacy of his own. After learning about his long lost son of 4 years old, he quickly stepped up to the plate to give his son a life that every child would dream of.
He recently brought another life into the family. He blessed us with a baby girl just a few weeks ago, something that everyone in the family had been yearning for.
Seeing his daughter born and caring for her, seemed to be one of his greatest joys and this reflected in his eyes and his true attachment to her. With the unfortunate event of Raymond passing, we are now facing the burden of funeral costs as well as support for the children.
If we don't get funds for anything else, we simply want to rest assured that we can at least raise something for the kids affected by his passing. It's so important for us to be able to come together as a family. It was my mother's goal to get him signed up this month for life insurance.
She finally convinced him to sign up, but it appears that it was a little too late. Regret is a terrible thing to live with. Instead, we extend this request for our family and friends to help contribute.
Anything helps and goes a long way. We have received many positive words of encouragement from our friends and family. Many of you have whole heartedly offered help during our time need.
We ask that you show love and support by helping us raise funds for the loss of a great man. If you knew Raymond, you would know that he had a way with people and touched many lives.
We want to do this in order to let his spirit rest assured that we have his back even in his physical absence.

A Happy Father

"He's the reason I breathe. Got down on my knees. Prayed I could be an example. It all seemed so simple. My world got twisted. The greatest gift besides life I now possess. Blessed. Yes indeed. Just to see. The way he looks at me. Makes me strive harder. No bartering. I'm a father. Not daddy or donor. It's my honor to be what Xy needs." ~Raymond Reed

Raymond will be dearly missed. He will Live on in our hearts forever.
