beloved brother Ray, who has left us far too soon

Hello all: my name is Ryan, and my brother Raymond passed away on Monday, May 1st, 2023.

This has been an incredibly difficult time for our family. Raymond was beloved by all friends and family - with an uncanny ability to brighten the days of all those around him.

As we've been searching for ways to communicate this sad news to those close to Raymond, we've also simultaneously been searching for comfort and closure in this time of grief.

For us, this process of laying Raymond to rest in a way we believed he would have desired - giving him all we think he needs as he moves into his next world, has given us some peace and ease in our hearts.

With many people hurting just like my family, some have asked if there's anything they can do, this GoFundMe was created to give that opportunity. Please note that this GoFundMe is not meant for large donations, but rather just small offerings to express care and comfort for Raymond and our family.

The funds received here will go directly to Raymond's final arrangements, as well as his final resting place at Greenwood Memorial, San Diego. Any donation will be appreciated, but more importantly, we hope it will also help with your grief, your care and heavy heart during these times.

At this time, my family is requesting to not be contacted and is taking limited phone calls. But if you contact me, I will relay any messages to them when the time is right.

For Raymond, we are having a small viewing for close family and friends on Wednesday, May 17th.
